- Get 5 tbspn curd
- Get 2 tbspn mayonise
- Get 1/2 tsp garlic powder
KFC's secret recipe has nothing on this one. The spices were a little more salty than I like but it was still a great tasting treat. Next time I will use plain garlic instead of garlic salt and maybe try some. Avoid glass bakeware as oven temperature and adding of liquid (melted butter) is not something advised per most manufacturers instruction on care.
Instructions to make Kfc chicken thighs:
- Take a big bowl add 2 cups of milk, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp white pepper powder, 2 tsp black pepper powder,1 tsp red chilli flakes, 2tbspn white vinegar or lemon juice and 2 tsp salt! Mix well add 3 eggs and mix it now dip the chicken thighs with skin(i took around 16 pieces) and marinate overnite or about 4 to 6 hours by covering a cling fling wrap and keep in freeze!
- Make the dry mixture by adding 4 cups of maida, 1 cup of cornflour, 5 to 6 tsp of salt, 2 tsp white pepper powder, 2 tsp red chilli powder,2 tsp black pepper powder and 2 tsp garlic powder, mix it well (sieve it) dry mixture is ready keep aside!
- In another bowl take chilled water and keep it ready. Now take 1 piece of chicken coat in the dry mixture of maida then dip in the chilled water for 10 to 12 seconds remove it again coat with the dry mixture of maida and keep it in a plate(make sure chicken is coated well) now deep fry in oil on a medium heat on one side for about 5 mins then turn on anothr side and fry for 5 to 7 mins and it's done(make sure the oil should not be on high flame).
- Garlic sauce - mix 5 tbsp of curd to 2 tbspn of mayonise and 1/2 tsp of garlic powder mix well! Garlic sauce is ready!.
- Serve kfc with garlic sauce!
